Once parties have filed for support through the State of Louisiana, the District Attorney will forward all petitions and motions to the Clerk of Court for filing and/or setting on the court docket. Minute clerks are responsible for processing filings, preparing the docket and serving the parties, court minutes, administering oath in Court, maintaining the minute book, upkeep of filing costs, and issuing Writs or other documents as ordered by the Court.
