PROCEDURES FOR ELECTRONIC FILING & STORAGE OF PLEADINGS:
In accordance with Code of Civil Procedure 253, the LCRAA Board and the LA Clerks of Court Association have unanimously adopted uniform filing standards. Additionally, in accordance with CCP 253, no clerk of court shall accept a filing not in accordance with the adopted standards. (Adopted May 12, 2025)

Optional Public Access
The Acadia Parish Clerk of Court and Acadia Parish Assessor have joint ventured and released public deed information pertaining to properties within Acadia Parish Louisiana.
Any document that has been recorded and tied to the property assessment within the Assessor’s Office and also having been scanned is now available for on-line purchase. This includes any scanned deeds and plats. Just click on Map, search the property, and click the Documents tab if there is one applicable.
We hope that this will aid the property owners in Acadia with a means of getting necessary information without having to leave your home. All you need is a computer with internet access and a printer if you would like to print.
